Healthy nation is a prerequisite to any sustainable development of a country and Nurses’ are the one of the important part of health. As a registered nurse I feel and I own that, the nursing is a novel profession which, serve with humanity. I have owned the nursing profession as part of my life; during my graduation in nursing I took a lot of opportunities to serve my people from my heart with empathy. My sincerity proved myself as a harbingers’ of nursing in Bangladesh. I belief that, ‘nothing is in contributory’ although nursing profession could not flourish its image and prestige itself.
But the increasing demand of nurses encouraged me to move with strong & enthusiastic attitudes. There are marvelous prospects of nursing in Bangladesh. So, I welcomed our brilliant fresher’s to join in nursing.
Nursing is only one profession where there is lot of scopes to work with humanity and in the field of international hospitals. Nurses have access to global arena, which lead a qualified nurse to earn lot of money and lead a better quality life with family and relatives also.
Nurses are the potential workforces of health care team. So, the fresher brilliant from our new generation can choose nursing as a challenging career.
The founder of Begum Rabeya Khatun Chowdhury Nursing College a great philanthropist, who is very gracious and grateful with honour, dignity as a renowned educationist & Tea planter, man with kind hearted extended his helping hands towards nursing and acknowledged nursing college to memorize to his immortal beloved wife, the Co-founder of Jalalabad Ragib-Rabeya Medical College & Hospital late Mrs. Rabeya Khatun Chowdhury. This nursing college is re-named as Begum Rabeya Khatun Chowdhury Nursing College (BRKCNC), Sylhet.
